You can use smartphones, tablets, laptops, or computers with webcams. Ensure you're using either Safari or Chrome browsers for the best experience. Firefox is currently not compatible for Self-Recording.
How can I ensure good video quality when recording at home?
Ensure good lighting, a stable camera position-do not rotate the device during recording and ensure you have a clear view of your performance area.
What should I do if my Wi-Fi connection drops during recording?
If your connection drops, the recording will stop, and you will need to re-record. If using smartphones or tablets with data, typically the recording will default to data connection without notice. Ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal before starting. If it does drop, you'll need to start over once you have a stable connection.

If video playback presents with a black screen or pixelated videos reach out to your instructor immediately. They can contact support to troubleshoot.
How long do I have to complete and submit my self-recording assignment?
This varies by assignment. Check the scenario details or ask your instructor for specific time constraints.
Can I edit or rerecord my video before submitting it?
The platform doesn't allow for editing. You can re-record if you're not satisfied as many times as necessary, but this will delete the previous attempt. Only your best attempt is submitted.
Can I pause the recording if I need a break or make a mistake?
The platform doesn't support pausing. It's best to complete the entire skill in one continuous recording.
What should I do if I can't see the self-record scenario in my course list?
Check with your instructor. Self-record scenarios are assignable events and may only appear at specific times.
