If you're experiencing issues with your recording devices, SimCapture provides a quick way to reset them directly from within your organization-no need to physically access the hardware unless absolutely necessary.
Things to Know Before You Begin
- You must have the System Administrator role to perform this task.
- If no System Administrator is available, you'll need to physically power cycle the device to reset it.
How to Reset Recording Devices
- Log in to your SimCapture organization.
- Click the gear icon next to your username to enter the System Setup area.
- Click Recording Devices.
- Click the kebab menu (⋮) next to the device you want to reset.
- Click Restart.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
Once restarted, the device will return to its default operational state.
