If you're experiencing issues with your recording devices, SimCapture provides a quick way to reset them directly from within your organization-no need to physically access the hardware unless absolutely necessary.

Things to Know Before You Begin

  • You must have the System Administrator role to perform this task.
  • If no System Administrator is available, you'll need to physically power cycle the device to reset it.

How to Reset Recording Devices

  1. Log in to your SimCapture organization.
  2. Click the gear icon next to your username to enter the System Setup area.
  3. Click Recording Devices.
  4. Click the kebab menu (⋮) next to the device you want to reset.
  5. Click Restart.
  6. Confirm the action when prompted.

Once restarted, the device will return to its default operational state.
