This article outlines what Learners will see when Administrators choose various options in the Release Scores page, focusing on Course evaluations, Scenarios, and Scenario evaluations.

Getting Started

Administrative Users:

• Navigate to Courses > Click a Course name.
• Select Go to full agenda.
• Click + Release Scores to release the scores.
   

Learner Users:

• Log in to your SimCapture account.
• View your scores on the My Courses page.
   

Editing Scores:

• If scores need to be reviewed or edited, an Administrative user with permissions to both edit and view the course results can change an evaluation score.
• Edits will update immediately.

Release Scores Page Overview

The Release Scores page features several options for Administrators:

• Release Date & Time
• Retract Date & Time (Optional)
• Release to (All Course Participants or Only Select Users)
• Other Releasing Options
• Select Score/Sessions to Release

Note: Learners do not have access to this page.

Other Releasing Options

1. Release Statistics Report

When an Administrator selects this option and clicks Save, a link to the Statistics Report is created for the Learner. Administrators can choose to display score percentages, point values, or both (with score percentages as the default).

Learner View: After clicking View Results in My Courses, Learners will see the Statistics Report, which includes:

• Curriculum items as columns
• Question categories as rows
• Curriculum Item Total
• Question Category Total
• Total Score

2. Release Evaluation Statistics Report

Similar to the statistics report, this option allows Administrators to release the Evaluation Statistics Report, with the same display options for percentages and point values.

Learner View: Learners will find a link to the Evaluation Statistics Report in their portfolio, which includes:

• Curriculum items
• Question categories
• Total Score

3. Release Passing Cutoffs

The behavior of this option varies based on what else is selected:

• Only Release Passing Cutoffs: No information is released.
• Overall Score Course Evaluation or Overall Score Scenario + Release Passing Cutoffs: Only the overall score will appear, not the cutoffs.
• Course Eval or Scenario Eval Questions + Release Passing Cutoffs: Learners will see evaluation titles, completion dates, and passing cutoffs.
• Scenario Video + Release Passing Cutoff: Scenario details are released, but cutoffs are not.

Select Scores/Sessions to Release

Course Evaluations

1. Questions: Learners can click to view the evaluation and see correct/incorrect answers highlighted (Green: correct, Yellow: partial, Red: incorrect).
2. Score: Displays the evaluation title, completion date, and score achieved, without a link to questions.
3. Questions + Score: Displays both the evaluation title with a link to questions and the score.

Scenario

• Overall Score: Displays total earned points and possible points for released items.
• Questions: Releases titles and dates of evaluations within the scenario, along with clickable links.
• Comments: Shows evaluations with comments, including links to view them.
• Score: Similar to questions but without links to details.
• Videos: Links to the session viewer for completed scenarios.

Scenario Evaluations

1. Questions: Displays scenario and evaluation titles, completion dates, and a link to view questions.
2. Comments: Allows viewing of evaluations with comments.
