Overview
These settings control how users authenticate and remain secure.
Login Security
Configure:
- Session timeout
- Idle warnings
- Failed login limits
- Lockout duration
Login Options
- Username & Password (Local only): Standard login using SimCapture credentials. Supports password reset and policy enforcement.
- Single Sign‑On (SSO): Authenticate through an external identity provider (e.g., SAML-based SSO). A dedicated SSO login button appears when enabled.
- Both (Local OR SSO): Gives users the option to either login user their username and password OR by using SSO
Password Policies
Choose:
- Weak
- Medium
- Strong
Set expiration requirements as needed.
Use the multi‑select gear to apply settings to multiple users.
Administrative Control
Only System Administrators can:
- Create or remove Administrators
- Control global user permissions
