SimCapture On-Premise to Cloud Migration Tool

Clients considering moving from our On-Premise to Cloud platform will now be able to move over large portions of On-Premise data to best assist with consistency between the two platforms and to reduce the amount of manual recreation work when moving to a new tool. The full list of supported and unsupported migration items can be found here:

Supported Migration Items:

Courses

• Course Details
• Course Status
  • In dev to in dev
  • In progress to archived
  • Completed to archived.
  • Archived to archived.
  • Reporting to archived
• Course Overall Passing Cutoff - QC passing cutoff will not be moved over.
• Course Checklists/Evaluations
• Course Attachments

Scenario

• Scenario annotations
• Scenario checklists/evaluations - Existing On-Prem evaluation forms will be moved as Before sessions evaluations These can then be copied into the correct placement.
• Scenario EMR's

Users

• All users will be migrated as a Participant role and can then be assigned to various roles after the migration is complete.
• Imported with a standard password to be changed post.
• Only migrating Active Users
• NOTE: SSO must be enabled to have NameID pass, or this can cause an issue of duplicate users
• Duplicate users via LDAP will not be moved over. These are users with _1, _2 etc.

Misc.

• Question Categories
• Rich Text of Evaluations
• Honor Codes within System Setup
• Simulators within System Setup - Simulators without a direct mapping will be moved to 'Other' category.
• Missing assets will be skipped a 'file not found message' will be placed to be corrected.
• Door note data is migrated, but not as Cloud door notes. Instead, it is migrated as Before Session evaluations and must be manually copied into the appropriate Door Note evaluation type.

Non-Supported Migration Items

• Pro Clients currently cannot utilize the migration tool
• Enterprise clients cannot be migrated to Enterprise + Exam System Client
• Enterprise + Exam System Clients cannot be migrated into a Enterprise Environment
• Exam Flows as they are created at the scenario level within Cloud.
• EMRs outside of Scenarios as this is currently not supported in Cloud.
• Course Scoring Evaluations as this is currently not supported in Cloud.
• Evaluations with Multiple Scoring Rubrics as this is currently not supported within Cloud.
• USMLE Questions in Scoring Rubrics
• Completed sessions and videos
• Completed Evaluations
• The 'Unsupported Curriculum' Course
• Inventory Items within System Setup
