The below list shows information about our top 5 recommended, sold, and supported cameras, indicated in bold type, as well as other supported cameras. Non-supported cameras or devices are not on this list.

Color Codes

• Green= Indicates supported and sold cameras. Those followed by ** are the preferred recommended cameras.
• Blue = Indicates the camera is supported but lacks baseline streaming profile - see note at the end of the table
• Orange=Indicates cameras that the manufacturer has discontinued. Support is still available until the date specified.
• Red= Indicates cameras that the manufacturer has discontinued. Support is not available, and the customer will have to upgrade to the recommended camera.

We suggest users who have any cameras marked as Discontinued upgrade to the latest recommended camera. An upgrade allows us to continue offering support with no interruption should there be any issues with functionality.

Streaming Profile Information

If the baseline streaming profile isn't supported on the camera, the computer must do some decoding to display the camera feed. If the computer is lower powered and/or old, the computer may not be able to process efficiently and cause a longer delay or no camera feed at all for Live View Only.  The recording and playback will not be affected. 

SimCapture cannot 100% support these cameras currently as the playback computer specifications are out of the control of the Support team. The solution from Support will be for the customer to utilize a newer computer for live view; within 3 recent CPU generations.

We are working with Axis to get more information on why they removed it from the newer chipsets and if we need to make any changes in software or if we will need to change our requirements.
