Things to Know Before You Begin
- SSO is available only if it has been enabled for your organization.
- Users authenticate using their existing institutional login (for example, their email or computer credentials).
- Once enabled, SSO links the institutional login directly to the user’s SimCapture account.

Setting Up SSO
To enable SSO for your organization, coordination with SimCapture Support is required.

- Documentation required to register SimCapture as a Service Provider (SP).
- Metadata from your Identity Provider (IdP).
What SimCapture Does
- Reviews and validates your SSO configuration.
- Registers SimCapture with your IdP.

Yes. SimCapture’s SSO implementation supports SAML.
Can users log in using both SSO and a local password?
No. If a user is configured for SSO, they must use the SSO Sign‑in option and cannot log in with a local password.
Can users sign in via the Center Sign‑In kiosk using SSO?
Yes. If the Create Users SSO setting is enabled, users will be created automatically and signed in when they authenticate via SSO.
