The SimCapture kiosk interface streamlines participant sign-in and sign-out at your Simulation Center, helping ensure accurate tracking, efficient operations, and comprehensive records to support SSH accreditation.
Note: This article references the SimCapture Enterprise interface, but the same features apply to SimCapture Pro.

Center Sign-In Administration
Accessing the Admin Page
- Click the Sign in/out icon in the global navigation bar.
- The page displays all users signed in within the last 24 hours and updates in real time.
What You'll See
- User Name
- Sign-in/Sign-out Times
- Sign-in Method (self or admin-assisted)
Admin Actions
- Manual Sign-out: Click the icon in the Sign out column to sign out users who forgot.
- Copy Kiosk URL: Generate a link to launch the kiosk on any supported device.
- Remote Sign-in Users: Sign users in without needing a kiosk.
- Sign Out All: End all sessions at once-ideal for closing time.
- Refresh Users: Manually refresh the user list.
- Download as Excel: Export raw sign-in data for reporting.
Using the Center Sign-In Kiosk
The kiosk allows users to log their time in the center but does not provide access to the full SimCapture system.
Kiosk Registration
A SimCapture admin must register each kiosk device to ensure only authorized devices are used.
Kiosk Interface
- Users are greeted with a custom message and Sign in/Sign out buttons.
- If SSO is enabled, users can sign in with their credentials.
- Users enter their SimCapture username and password to sign in or out.
- A confirmation message appears before returning to the home screen.
Configuration Options for Admins
Accessible via System Setup, these settings allow customization of the kiosk experience:
- Manage Center Sign-ins: Grants access to admin tools and reports.
- Require Password: Toggle password requirement for sign-in/out.
- Message Display Duration: Set how long confirmation messages appear.
- Auto-Sign-out Duration: Automatically sign out inactive users.
