This short guide walks you through starting a new session and adding participants.

Things to know before you begin

If you are unsure of your SimCapture URL, do not have a username/password, or do not have an account, reach out to your System Administrator or SimCapture support for help.

Start a new session

1. Log into your organization using your SimCapture username and password.
2. On the Home page, click Start New Session in the room you will record in.
   • Blue: Room is available to be used.
   • Red:  Room is currently in session. You may join it if you are allowed.
   • Yellow: Room currently has no audio or video inputs. Ensure your cameras and microphones are correctly plugged in.
   • Gray: Room is currently offline. If you see this unexpectedly, contact your system administrator or SimCapture support
3. Ensure the feeds you want are selected and give your session a title. You can also associate a Scenario, Organization, Location, Simulator, and Participants with the session at this step. Notes can also be added.

4. Click Start. When the session is complete, click the  button.
