Release version 5.9.3

Laerdal Medical is happy to announce the release of SimCapture version 5.9.3. The latest release brings early versions of Scheduling and Evaluations to the Vue Interface. Thank you all for using our feedback feature. With your help, we were able to quickly identify and fix some annoying bugs. Thank you again for your help and please continue to send any thoughts, questions, and issues through our feedback button.

Vue interface phase IV

We have our fourth round of Vue HTML5 features rolling out. The full list of Vue Interface updates is listed below:

Scheduling

• Main Calendar is now available for admin users.
  • Does not include "Course Calendar" or "Portfolio Calendar."
• All Basic scheduling functionality is now available.
  • Add\Edit Reservations
  • Toggle between calendar views
    • Matrix View is not available yet.
  • Includes new scheduling fields
    • Add Setup and Takedown Time and notes to your calendar event.

Evaluations

• Our first iteration of our Evaluations for the Vue Interface is available.
  • More evaluation functionality will be coming in the near future.
• Add Evaluations to a course.
  • Add New or Copy an existing evaluation.
• Evaluation Builder is available.
  • Does not include USMLE question types or dropdown question types.
• Non-Supported Question Types.
  • Any evaluation that includes USMLE or dropdown question types will not be viewable or editable in Vue Interface.

New LLEAP versions verified

Tested and validated that these new versions of LLEAP (v6.6.0) work with our software:

• The plugin will need to be reinstalled after the upgrade.
• Changes in LLEAP 6.6.0
  • LLEAP now supports the new simulator "SimBaby."
  • LLEAP now plays the "Grunt" and "Weak cry" vocal sounds in synch with chest rise.

• Installation Instructions for both new versions:

  • Both new versions have been tested and are fully functional with our software. After the new version is installed the SimCapture plugin will need to be reinstalled.

Bug fixes and improvements

• Resolved a few issues related to the session list not searching or populating correctly.
• Fixed an issue with disconnected stations continuing to appear in the list of available DebriefCast stations.
• Resolved an issue from our last release that caused PTZ to not work correctly on IP cameras for some clients.
• Made some fixes to Scenarios in Vue Interface to ensure changes were saved properly.
• Added more error messaging when users try and delete users or curricula that have related data.
