SimCapture Cloud allows each user to choose their own language, independent of the system default. This is especially helpful for organizations with multilingual users, such as teams that work in both English and French.

This article explains how to set, change, or reset your language preference, and what to expect when logging in.

Who can set a language preference

• All Users can set their own language from their user profile.

Set your language preference

1. Log into SimCapture Cloud.
2. Open your User Profile.
3. Select the pencil to edit Contact Info.
4. Locate the Locale  dropdown.
5. Choose your preferred language.
6. Save your changes.

Once saved, your selected language is applied the next time you log in.

What happens after you set a language

• You will see SimCapture in your selected language after logging in.
• Your language preference only applies to you.
• Other users continue to see SimCapture in their own selected language or the system default.
• Changing the system default language does not override your personal setting.
• Evaluations respect your selected language for a consistent experience.

Reset your language to the system default

If you want to return to the organization’s default language:

1. Open your User Profile.
2. Select Edit Profile.
3. Open the Language dropdown.
4. Select the system default language.
5. Save your changes.

Your profile will match the system default language instead of the custom language.

Admin permissions and language settings

• Admins and Participants can now update all fields except the username.

Common questions

Will changing my language affect other users?

No. Each user’s language preference is personal and does not impact anyone else.

Will system language changes override my setting?

No. Once you set a personal language, system default changes do not affect you.
