SimCapture Enterprise with Exam System: Usage area of reporting dashboard

Things to know before you begin
This usage area is only visible to System Administrator users.
Usage area
Click the Reports tab in the global navigation bar to access the Usage area of the reporting dashboard. Once there, you will see the following:
Within each of the sections below you have the ability to filter by Course, Participants, Organizations, Simulators and Locations. Quick stats are displayed and the ability to download Excel reporting is available.
To make the data of Usage reports clearer, you will see titles and subtitles on the following pages within reporting to show how the data is calculated:
- Number of Sessions – Title: Number of Sessions; Subtitle: Count of Each Sessions Run Between Two Dates.
- Learner Contact Hours – Title: Learner Contact Hours; Subtitle: Number of Hours in Sessions Multiplied by Number of Participants.
- Recorded Hours – Title: Recorded Hours; Subtitle: Sum of Session Times
- Annotations – Title: Annotations; Subtitle: Count of Annotation Usage
- Center Sign-in Hours – Title: Center Sign In Hours; Subtitle: Sum of Time Signed in Using Center Sign-In. - unrelated to sessions
Number of Sessions: View the total and the average number of sessions per day for a specified time period. This information can be viewed in Days, Weeks, and Months as well as by a Date Range that can be set for the Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Year to Date, All Time, and Custom.
- Learner Contact Hours: View the total and average hours per day of recorded hours of all Learners across sessions. Learner Contact Hours = Session Length x Number of Learners in that Session. For example, Session A is 1 hour long and has 1 Learner, this equates to 1 recorded hour and 1 Learner contact hour. Session B is 1 hour long and has 2 Learners, this equates to 1 recorded hour and 2 Learner contact hours. This information can be viewed in Days, Weeks, and Months as well as by a Date Range that can be set for the Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Year to Date, All Time, and Custom. Upon exporting the Learner Contact Hour report, you’ll be able to see the number of learners under the Number of Participants column as well as being able to view the Learner Contact Hours, which will show the session duration multiplied by the number of participants.
- Recorded Hours: View the total hours for a specified time period and the average hours per day for a specified time period. This information can be viewed in Days, Weeks, and Months as well as by a Date Range that can be set for the Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Year to Date, All Time, and Custom.
- Annotations: View the total annotations for a specified time period as well as the percentage of sessions with annotations for a specific time period. This information can be viewed in Days, Weeks, and Months as well as by a Date Range that can be set for the Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Year to Date, All Time, and Custom. Additionally, this information can be filtered by Course and Organizations.
- Center Sign-In Hours:View the total and average hours per day for a specified time period. This information can be viewed in Days, Weeks, and Months as well as by a Date Range that can be set for the Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Year to Date, All Time, and Custom. Additionally, this information can be filtered by Users and Organizations.
