SimCapture Enterprise: How to access and work with learner score statistics reports

As an administrator, the Learner Score Statistics report lets you view individual participants' performance for the course with statistics on Scenarios, Course Evaluations, and Question Categories. Only completed activities will be reflected in the report so that performance can be tracked throughout the Course.
Note: The downloaded Excel sheet will show the Username formatted as Last Name, First Name, and Middle (if applicable).
- Question Categories – questions may be assigned a Category when creating. Any categories assigned to a question in an evaluation will appear and be calculated for the number correct/total for the scenario in the field to the right.
- Course Scenarios/Evaluations – all scenarios related to the course will be listed at the top of the column.
- Question Category Totals – total questions per category/total for that individual student and the Class Mean, Class Standard Deviation, High, and Class Low scores will be presented for each question category.
- Quick Course Statistics - course statistics related to the class Mean, Standard Deviation, High, and Low total scores.
- Participant Score – total number of points accrued vs. points available.
- Curriculum Item Total – totals for questions/scenarios for that individual student and the Class Mean, Class Standard Deviation, High, and Low-class scores for the curricular items.
To access and work with the Learner Score Statistic report, take these steps.
- Click the Course name.
- Scroll to the Results pod and click View reports.
- From the Report dropdown menu, select Learner Score Statistics. You can view the report for various learners by choosing their names from the Learner dropdown menu.
- Click the Print Report button for a .pdf-generated report.
Course & question category passing cutoff
If passing cutoffs are set, they will be reflected in the report as shown below when a student scores below the set threshold. If a student is above the threshold, no message will be shown.
Note: Question Category passing cutoffs can only be added once the course has been created and evaluations have been associated with it.
Color coding
Individual scores may be color-coded within the table to signify performance to the rest of the Course participants.
- Dark Green: 2+ standard deviations above the mean
- Light Green: 1-2 standard deviations above the mean
- Black: within 1 standard deviation above/below the mean
- Light Red: 1-2 standard deviations below the mean
- Dark Red: 2+ standard deviations below the mean

Learner evaluation score statistics report
The learner evaluation statistics report is a new report that is similar to the learner score statistics with the exception that it contains columns and information for each individual evaluation under a given scenario. This allows for more detailed viewing of a learner's performance within a single Course.
