The Monitor Interface in SimCapture's Exam System is a dedicated screen for users with monitor permissions, enabling them to observe live encounters being recorded through the Control Interface. Below is an overview of its main functions and how to access it:

The monitor interface is only available to those users with SimCapture Enterprise with Exam System as it is part of the exam system.

Access the monitor interface

To access the monitor interface:.

1. Log in to your SimCapture organization.
2. Select Control from the global navigation bar.
3. Click the camera icon to navigate to the Monitor Interface screen.

Key features of the Monitor Interface

Once you’ve accessed the Monitor Interface, you can:

• Select a Room to View: Use the dropdown to choose a room configured with a course that you have permission to monitor.
• Live Video Viewing: Watch live video streams during the encounter phase. Camera control is also available if the room’s cameras support it.
• Complete Monitor Evaluations: If a monitor evaluation is part of the scenario, you can complete it during the session. For Exam System scenarios, the monitor evaluation replaces the administrator evaluation.

Monitor evaluations can be completed from the time a learner logs in until the room resets at the end of the exam, with the option to continue evaluation after the exam session concludes.
