The Reporting Dashboard gives administrative users a centralized view of performance, trends, and platform usage across their SimCapture organization. It helps administrators monitor learner outcomes, identify improvement opportunities, and understand how courses and evaluations are being used over time.
Before You Begin
- The Reporting Dashboard is available only to administrative-level users .
- You must be logged into your SimCapture organization.
- The dashboard provides insights into:
- Learner and course performance
- Evaluation and scoring trends
- Platform usage and engagement
Access the Reporting Dashboard
- Log in to your SimCapture organization.
- Select Reports from the global navigation.
- The Reporting Dashboard opens and provides access to reporting views and dashboard sections.
Report Navigation Views
The Reporting Dashboard provides two primary ways to access and analyze reporting data. Both views are available from SimCapture Cloud > Reports and allow users to drill down into more detailed information based on their permissions.
Course View
The Course View organizes reporting data around courses and learner performance within those courses.
Users can drill down through the following levels:
- All Courses → Single Course
- All Students in a Course → Single Student within a Course
Use Course View to answer questions such as:
- How are learners performing in a specific course?
- Which learners have completed course requirements?
- What evaluations, sessions, or assignments are associated with a course?
Student View
The Student View organizes reporting data around individual learners.
Users can drill down through the following levels:
- All Students → Single Student
- All Courses for a Student → Single Student within a Single Course
Use Student View to answer questions such as:
- How is a specific learner progressing across multiple courses?
- Which course activities has a learner completed?
- What evaluation and performance data is available for a learner?
Choosing the Right View
Both views provide access to the same underlying reporting data, but from different perspectives:
- Use Course View to analyze performance within a specific course.
- Use Student View to analyze an individual learner's performance across multiple courses.
