What is SimCapture Cloud Remote OSCE?
SimCapture Cloud Remote OSCE is a cloud-based platform designed to support the remote administration of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs). It enables educators to assess learners' clinical and communication skills through virtual interactions using standardized patients, simulation tools, and video conferencing-all within a secure, browser-based environment.
Things to Know Before You Begin
- Monitor Limit: Remote exams support up to two monitors per room.
- Room Capacity: Each client environment can host up to 30 virtual rooms.
- Browser: Use Google Chrome. Firefox is not supported.
- Hardware: A desktop or laptop with an updated browser, microphone, and camera is required. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported.
- Network: Minimum bandwidth of 1.2 Mbps is required. A wired Ethernet connection is recommended for best performance.
- Access Tip: Always use Chrome to access exams-other browsers may not work properly.
